SoIndustry.com has finally arrived in a private beta testing period. I’ll leave it to the SoIndustry site literature/landing page to explain what the service is all about, but the mission statement is short & sweet; SoIndustry is here to help you find and keep in touch with your industry.

A ‘private beta testing period’ means that only a limited number of people will be allowed in for the first few weeks. This should help to properly manage the servers and build a good rapport with the highly valued early community members. You can register for a beta-testing account here and your account will be activated asap (although, if you’re lucky enough to get hold of a beta invitation from someone on the inside, you’ll skip the queue and get straight in to SoIndustry).

Everyone involved with SoIndustry is eager for feedback; the launch really is just the starting point. There’s tons of refinements planned (and even a premium feature set in the works), however, we need your suggestions and opinions just as much as we need our own. If you’re already using SoIndustry or you just having something to say regarding first impressions, there are a couple of paths for leaving constructive feedback (and even these have planned improvements);

Customer Support email
(For any bugs you find or customer support inquiries)

Feature suggestion channel
(For any feature requests you may have)

I hope you enjoy SoIndustry, a lot of hard work has gone in to it.
